At the end of the year, Vanguard received a generous donation, enabling us to purchase five Ecoflows for Ukraine. With winter in full force, we decided to make a swift trip to Kyiv. Niels and Bas loaded up the bus and carefully navigated the slippery, snow-covered roads from the Netherlands to Kyiv. Upon arrival, they quickly delivered the Ecoflows to the designated location, and other donations were shipped via Nova Poshta. After a brief rest, Niels and Bas returned to the bus and made the journey back to the Netherlands.

Recently, the laptops donated by BMC and Randstad arrived in Kharkiv, Ukraine. There, they were distributed by the H.U.G.S. Foundation to children participating in the SMART program. This program was set up specifically for vulnerable Ukrainian children directly affected by the devastating invasion. The youth in this program have been forcibly evacuated or relocated from their native villages and are currently staying in temporary accommodations in the city of Kharkiv.

Thanks to the donated laptops, the children can continue their learning program and pursue their education despite the ongoing shelling.

Our thanks to all parties involved: Dutch Civilian Action, H.U.G.S. and once again BMC and Randstad for their efforts to get the laptops to where they are so desperately needed.

On the evening of November 7th, Robin, Koen, and Maarten set out for Kyiv once again, this time with a van packed with medical and IT equipment. The aid was delivered to the NGO of April Huggett, UnitedForFreedom.

The shipment included:

Desktops, Backup UPS power supplies, Monitors, Flame-retardant blanket, A variety of wound care supplies, Burnshields and Toys fundraised by April for her annual Christmas fundraiser

A convoy from Paris, en route to Kharkiv, picked up our donations last week. Three trucks were filled with medical supplies, accessories and other crucial items. A great collaboration between Vanguard, Renegade Relief Runners and UanitedforFreedom.

We just completed another crucial mission to Ukraine, delivering medical supplies and IT equipment directly to those in need Niels, Wanda, and Bas drove a van filled with essential aid, ensuring everything reached its destination safely.

This week, together with us at Vanguard, Ron Roozendaal successfully delivered more humanitarian aid to Ukraine than on his last couple of trips.

This week, we’re focused on transporting 505 kg of medical and IT aid, valued at €40,000, to support the wounded in contested areas.

Note: We’re also handling the transportation of Starlink systems on behalf of Defacto Humanity . These systems are crucial for maintaining communication.

On August 7, Jan left with his car and trailer full of medical and IT aid for another trip to Ukraine.

First he visited the Under the Protection of God foundation in Lviv, where he delivered 18 boxes,

Then he left for Kiev, where Jan visited UanitedforFreedom, where he delivered the other half of the shipment.

On the 9th of July, our esteemed volunteers, Anneke and Janscho, embarked on their journey from the Netherlands to Ukraine on behalf of our charity.

In Ukraine, they delivered numerous boxes filled with essential medical supplies and IT equipment to one of our esteemed partner organizations, UanitedforFreedom, founded by the remarkable April (@DefactoHumanity).

By this professional truck transport, Vanguard managed to ship multiple server cabinets, UPS units and a couple of desktops to Ukraine, where charities will donate them to places where they are urgently required.

Reginald is once again traveling to Ukraine to provide assistance, with some of the equipment being donated through Vanguard.

This trip includes both medical aid and IT equipment and will be delivered to two charities we partner with in Ukraine: United for Ukraine and Under The Protection of God.

Niels, Robin & Bas are leaving for Ukraine with a bus full of medical supplies worth 70,000. The gentlemen are also carrying with them again boxes of syrup waffles collected with Operation Syrup Waffle and 80 Tourniquets purchased after the collection campaign for patches.

In cooperation with several foundations, John is leaving for Ukraine with several boxes of IT equipment.

Lennard vertrekt met een auto vol met 300kg aan medische hulpgoederen naar Lviv. Via de stichting Under The Protection of God, zijn deze overhandigd aan lokale ziekenhuizen.

Wanda and Ben leave for Ukraine with a bus full of relief supplies. These have been handed over in Lviv to the foundation Under The Protection of God. They also once again have several thousand euros worth of IT equipment with them that will be sent to Kyiv.

A few weeks after the founding of the Vanguard Foundation, the time has come. The first Vanguard items leave for Ukraine with a volunteer.
